Curious about what the heck Isabelle is doing and what this is all about? 

When I was little, I wanted to be the next Indiana Jones. As an undergrad, I spent my time studying Classics and fell in love with ancient societies. Specifically, the ceramic remnants these societies left behind. The idea for the nvz initiative came from my own love of ancient pottery. I designed this idea around handmade pencil cases. One day, I want to design each “line” around/inspired by pottery from different ancient societies; Minoans, Egyptians, the Greeks, etc. Through those sales,  I will put a large portion towards developing a “grant” to help younger students pay for archeological excavations. This, in turn, would help them with connections and experiences for a career in anthropology and archeology.
